Mental health care tailored to your needs.

A Little About Myself
Hello! I'm Avery. I’m a trauma-informed, dedicated counselor with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health and a B.S. in Psychology. I specialize in processing life transitions, LGBTQ+ issues, children and teens, and working through trauma of all shapes and sizes.
My Approach To Therapy
I believe that the therapy process should be as enjoyable as humanely possible. You can expect a warm environment, filled with direct questions and a dash of humor as we explore your life, your stressors, and concerns. You deserve to have a peaceful life and I will walk alongside to help you achieve it.
What is a First Session With You Like?
A first session with me consists of going over informed consent, confidentiality, and exploring who you are as a person and what brought you to counseling in the first place. I will ask a lot of questions, but it is so that I have the best idea of who you are and how to help you.
Memberships and Achievements
I am a proud member of the Colorado Counseling Association, the Texas Counseling Association, and have served twice as a program reviewer and a committee member for continuing education credits. I’m in the process of writing a survival guide for LPC-As and look forward to the day where I can become an LPC-S to the next generation of counselors.
